End of Phase 1

Today is the end of Phase 1 and so I weighed and measured myself. I was afraid I didn't lose any weight because I was off on Saturday when I went to the LeMans races in Portland. I ate the bun with my chicken sandwich and had a small piece of pizza. But it didn't screw up the whole week. I probably would have lost more but I'm happy with this weeks progress.

The first number is the starting number and the second is the current number.

Bust: 44 42
Waist: 43 39
Hips: 51 49
Thigh: 28 26 3/4
Calf: 16 3/4 15 3/4
Arm: 13 3/4 13
Weight: 202.5 194

Total weight loss is 8.5 pounds and 13 3/4 inches gone. I dropped a pants size in two weeks.

Now I enter Phase 2 which adds friendly carbs. I haven't found anyone who carries the approved bread so I may just have to wait. Not that I'm missing carbs that bad. It is hard to pass the bakery department in the stores I service but I don't have cravings for it. I don't seem to miss candy either. I could probably just survive on P1 most days.

I don't get a lot of support for my dieting since it requires time to get everything together for the next day or to fix something to eat in the morning. I still get offers to eat forbidden foods repeatedly. But I'm doing this for me so I'm not going to let anyone get in the way of my goals.

I got two pairs of shoes for Phase 1 goal. I have been wearing painful shoes everyday for many months. And I'm going to do more for myself than I have in the past. I'm going to indulge in my favorite things like sewing and saving the environment.
