A new challenge

I'm starting this to document and track my progress on the Fat Flush Plan by Ann Louise Gittleman. I had a horrible 'lightbulb' moment when buying a swimsuit two weeks ago. I avoid looking in any mirrors but got a look at myself - a good look while in the dressing room. I was on the verge of tears, the person looking back at me looked so repulsive.

I have read several diet books recently and decided the Fat Flush Plan was what I was looking for. It is not only a diet (actually a lifestyle change) but a detox program. I know that my body is screaming to be cleaned up. I have had several health issues in the past six months that have really made me change what I eat. So I think I am ready for this detox plan!

I love cranberries so the cran-water will be great for me. I already take vitamins and supplements. I have eliminated trans-fats. I have cut back considerably on caffeine (no longer a Dew addict). I tried to make healthier choices. Now its time to take it to the next level.

So tomorrow I will weigh and measure myself. My goal is to lose 60 pounds. I want to wear shorts and sleeveless tops. I want a flat stomach. And I'm tired of being tired!!!

I will also be using EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) to help with emotional/stressful issues as they come up and resolve issues that may be holding me back from losing weight or exercising.

I will be using my Gazelle and a Pilates workout for exercise. I already have a physical job but since I only work 3 days a week, I need to supplement that.

See ya tomorrow!
